Terms of Service
Last updated September 10, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and SuchNumbers ("we", "us") and govern your use of suchnumbers.com and any number you buy through it. By using the site or placing an order you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. What we sell
SuchNumbers sells the right to take over a specific US telephone number. Each number shown on the site is live carrier inventory at the moment it is displayed. When you pay, we acquire the number from our carrier partner, hold it in an account we control, and give you the details you need to port it to a carrier of your choice: the number, the carrier name, the account number and a port-out PIN.
We do not provide phone service. You cannot make or receive calls or messages on a number while we hold it, and the number must not be used to reach emergency services. The number becomes usable only after your carrier completes the port.
2. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Sign-in is by a one-time code sent to your e-mail address. Keep that mailbox secure: anyone who can read it can access your orders and porting details. Guests may run a limited number of searches per day before signing in.
3. Prices and payment
Every price on the site is a one-time charge in US dollars, shown before you pay. There is no subscription, recurring fee or contract. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. A number is reserved to you only once Stripe confirms the payment. Prices may change at any time, but a change never affects an order you have already paid for.
Inventory is live and scarce. If a number you paid for is no longer available by the time we try to acquire it, the order fails and we refund that number in full.
4. The 30-day porting window
You have 30 days from purchase to port each number to your own carrier. The deadline is shown on your order page and in the e-mail we send you. We send a reminder about a week before it. A number that has not been ported by its deadline is released back to the carrier pool and the purchase is not refunded. Once released, we cannot get the number back.
Porting is initiated by your new carrier, not by us. Give them the number, the account number and the PIN exactly as shown, and the name you entered at checkout. When the carrier's port request reaches us we authorize it automatically. A port normally completes within a few business days; timing is controlled by the carriers.
5. Refunds
- Full refund if we cannot acquire the number after you pay, or if a port fails because of an error on our side that we cannot correct within the porting window.
- No refund once a number has been ported to your carrier, or once it has been released because it was not ported by the deadline.
- No refund for a port rejected by your carrier for reasons we do not control, such as a name mismatch, a carrier that does not accept ports for that number type, or a request they never sent. We will help you retry within the window.
To ask for a refund, e-mail hello@suchnumbers.com from the address on the order. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
6. Numbers are not property
Telephone numbers are a public resource allocated under FCC rules and carrier tariffs. What you buy is our service of acquiring the number and holding it for port-out, not ownership of the number itself. We cannot guarantee that any particular carrier will accept a port, that a number will remain assigned to you after the port, or that a number has no history with previous holders.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the site or any number bought through it for unlawful purposes, including fraud, spam, spoofing, harassment, unlawful robocalling or texting, or impersonating others. You may not scrape the site, resell numbers you have not yet ported, or attempt to bypass search limits or sign-in. We may cancel orders and close accounts that break these rules, and we may report unlawful activity to carriers and authorities.
8. Our liability
The site and its numbers are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for losses caused by carriers, payment providers or other third parties. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Material changes will be posted on the site before they take effect and do not apply to orders placed earlier. We may suspend or discontinue the site at any time. If we discontinue it while you have an unported number inside its porting window, we will either keep the number available for porting until the deadline or refund it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
